The State Street Inn offers charming guest rooms, each with air conditioning and a private bath. All guest rooms include HD cable television, complimentary wi-fi, in-room Keurig coffeemakers, bottled water, and premium bath amenities.
Enjoy our living room (with fireplace), or borrow a novel in our sunny reading room. Relax on our front porch, with a beautiful view of historic, tree-lined State Street.
A full breakfast is served daily from 7:30–10:30 am. Enjoy waffles, french toast, omelets, and more — all freshly made with organic ingredients. Room service is available.
We're located next to the DSU Downtown campus (formerly Wesley College). You'll find plenty of restaurants, historic sites, and museums within easy walking distance. Casinos, tax-free shopping, and Amish farms are nearby. We're less than 10 miles from Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, one of the world's great birding sites. Delaware's resort beaches are just an hour away.
Notes: All guest rooms are non-smoking and double occupancy, with one queen bed. Sorry, no pets allowed. Our inn is not suitable for young children, but we accept children 10 years or older.
Accessibility: All guest rooms are located on the second floor, and require climbing stairs.
